9 weeks and counting

So, here we are in the 9th week (almost 10 weeks old!) and wondering where the time goes. Grant is doing great at his new daycare. He even did his very first ever art project! The girls at his school rolled up his sleeves, dipped his hands in red paint, and helped him swirl them around on a piece of paper, attempting to make it in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Day. They also helped him sponge paint with a heart-shaped sponge. They said they took pictures, but I haven't seen them yet. Hopefully Monday. But it's really cute that he's already doing art stuff, even though the boy hasn't yet found his own hands!

Grant is still congested from his cold. We discovered that his RSV turned into a sinus infection, and we got anti-biotics for that. He's feeling much better though. When we went to the doctor a second time, he got a breathing treatment.

But he's been all smiles since then.

Until his 2-month appointment when he had to have his 2-month vaccines! It was so sad, but he only cried for about 15 seconds. He's a tough boy! He's off the charts in weight! Here are his stats:

14 pounds (90-95%)
24" long (75-90%0
40 centimeter head circumference (25-50%0

So he's grown 2 inches in the past 2 months.

These are all iPhone pics, so I'll need to upload a few of our camera shots soon. I'll end on this pic - this is what was posted on the daycare infants' room the first day Grant started. How nice!
