Home again!

I made it home, safe and sound. I had a most wonderful experience and am very thankful that I work for a company that affords me the opportunity to do things like travel to places I would likely never visit on my own.  I would love to blog for days about how awesome the experience was, but this blog isn't about me - it's about these sweet boys!  And boy, did I miss them TERRIBLY!

By the way, in the photo below, you'll see Grant is wearing a sticker.  That sticker says, "Who knew?  I GREW!" which came free (so generous) with his new shoes we had to buy because his foot grew an ENTIRE SHOE SIZE in 2 months.  Thank God we have 2 boys and shoes will get double the use, because he hardly wore the last pair!!!  He's in an 11!  I know that doesn't mean much to people who aren't familiar with kid shoe sizes, but for a 3-year old, that's just bananas.  I have small feet for my height (7.5), but daddy has big feet - size 13!  And I'm positive these boys will have big feet too!

Proof Of Life

We’re on day 8 since Andrea left for India and I haven’t put anything on the blog, so I offer up this simple post with visual evidence that the boys remain happy and healthy.  I’ve been extremely short on time (and sleep), but I have had some help from Grandpa and Nonna and Courtney put in some extra hours too.  Ryan survived his teething diaper rash (still no new teeth) and has transitioned to eating in a high chair, Grant made some progress learning to ride his new bike, and everyone stayed out of the emergency room!  We’re all eagerly awaiting mommy’s return.

Leaving On A Jet Plane

I'll be gone from the family for a few days, traveling for work to India. This is the longest I will have ever been away from Rob, let alone my babies.  I sure hope Daddy posts a bit while I'm gone!

7 Months Old!

Where are the diaper shots, you ask?  Yeah, Mr. Rolly-poly here refused them.  That's OK though.  Because at 7 months, his brother was already done with the whole cuddling and rocking thing...  but this little boy?  He's such a snuggler.  I relish the moments I get with him falling asleep in my arms.  I'll forgive his diaper shot refusal.  This time.  :-)

 Love him!

Baby Toys

Grant really likes playing with Ryan's toys - way more than Ryan likes them.  If I'd known how big of a hit baby toys would be, we'd have just dragged all Grant's old baby toys out and given them to him for Christmas!
